I was going to post about my latest Halloween projects but that will have to wait until tomorrow. So Yes, I created yet another Hawaii mini album using mostly pictures I took at our last Yamamoto family reunion in Hawaii (August 2010). There have actually been 8 more babies added to the family since then-love being an Auntie (all the advantages of being a mom with none of the work). Most of the patterned papers are Nine & Co. line by Teresa Collins Designs. I also added manila tags, glitter paper stars punched with the Fiskar’s star punch, American Crafts glitter paper, Thankful free download from TCD, many of my own printables and a couple handmade papers that I have collected over the years. I think my Canon 50d is slowly dying-it is just not focusing like it used to so please excuse some of the slightly blurry pictures.
I love this gold foil paper and thought it would make the perfect cover for another Hawaii mini album. I think this is like the 10th Hawaii mini album I have created over the years. The family and what matters most are from free download on the Teresa Collins blog from last year I think it was. I also added gold glitter to a plain chipboard letter y for some extra texture and dimension. (I ran it through my Xyron and then covered it with glitter) The photo is of all my brothers and sisters and I is one of the few I did not take. All the handwriting was done with Kuretake Zig millenium 08 pen. Here are a few of my favorite pages in the book:
